On Governors and Good Hair: Part II

There's an hilarious article by John Kelso in today's Statesman, and yes, it's sexist and mean-spirited, but it's also true.  Kelso complains that First Lady Anita Perry needs to smile more, and he goes on to ponder the possible causes of her apparent unhappiness, even as her husband was inaugurated, again, for the third time, this week.

Of course, as I've speculated before, we all know that the source of her sadness can be traced back to the fact that her husband's hair looks better than hers.  My mother always said never marry a man who is prettier than you are (which, of course, is why poor Jennifer Aniston never had a prayer with Brad Pitt), and though Anita in not unattractive, her frizzy blond helmet cannot hold a candle to the luxurious mane that defines the very essence of the leader of our fair state.

Of course, there was the "Rachel" cut, which Aniston now says she hated.  But I'm guessing you don't see many middle-aged housewives asking for the "Anita" these days.
