Maybe the Tide is Turning

This past week, the National Institutes of Health held a conference on VBACs. While all of the VBAC and natural birth circles watched breathlessly, the media was also following the developments of the three day meeting, and stories appeared on television, radio, and in newspapers across the country.

NIH essentially concluded that VBACs are indeed safe for a large percentage of women and that more needs to be done by doctors to inform their patients and encourage VBACs among low-risk populations.

The entire contents of the conference can be found here.
